I’m always a sucker for characters with tough guy facades with soft spots for other characters/animals so I suppose that!!!

As an artist his pompadour 😭 it’s so hard to draw I was drawing him last night and it was rough.

It’s not a specific line nor is it directly canon but I like his conversation in the ultimate talent development plan he has with Gonta where he gets kinda peeved at Gonta for implying that bugs are better than dogs like ?? Unstoppable force meets immovable object or something

I love love LOVE his interactions with Kaito as well and I like thinking about them being best friends, as well as him and Leon and Chihiro they are all best friends.

I don’t think I have any?? I guess there’s some I just see and don’t understand and to be fair I really can’t see him with anyone else personally but I don’t think I’ve seen a ship romantic or platonic with him that made me react negatively?

I’m not sure if this is rooted in any canon dialogue but I don’t think there’s any that I can remember off the top of my head so I’ll consider this a headcanon currently but I like the idea that he does a lot of wood working/building things in his free time, maybe mechanic work? He and kazuichi are mechanic buddies in my head.

-unpopular opinion

Not sure if this is unpopular but I think the fandom mischaracterizes him more than not,,like, they either make him too mean or too sweet and it drives me crazzyyyyy especially with non despair fics where they’re essentially still starting from before any of his character development. Drives me BONKERS. otherwise I don’t really have negative opinions on him I see this man through rose tinted glasses
